On the Other Side

Today we were on the other side of Cornwall at Coverack. We had also travelled deep into the Earth’s crust. Coverack is one of the few places in the world where it is possible to see a fossil ‘Moho’ the boundary between the Earth’s upper mantle of serpentine and its lower crust of gabbro. Todays blip gives a hint of what is on offer here as you walk across the beach.
