The Old Court House, Llanrwst

The 15th Century Court House at Llanrwst is now in the care of the National Trust and serves as a tea room for tourists on the ground floor with a photographic exhibition on the first floor. What could be nicer than relaxing on the lawn in front of the house, enjoying an ice cream in the sunshine while the children play in the shallows of the river? (More here www.flickr.com/photos/chrysanthemum2013) Ascent to the two fascinating rooms on the first floor of the building is via a curious, centuries old and extremely worn stone staircase - only for the sure-footed. The exhibition, of photographs of the local area, show-cases the best of the local attractions throughout the seasons.
