By the Wind

Wild chives suddenly appeared a couple years ago. Not sure how they survived the rocky ground, but perhaps the soil beneath the rocks is fertile, giving life to the seeds carried by the wind. The roots dig deep into their foundation, providing just the right conditions to multiply and flourish! Sounds like something someone once told me.
