Reflections

For our first curling day of the new season, our club visited the curling rink at Dumfries since our home rink is not yet open for curling.  Restarting the new season is always a worry that we may not be able to slide out properly without going flying down the ice, arms outstretched, after letting go of the stone. I've done that on more than one occasion; very embarrassing.  All went well today and I felt good at the end of the session. Ten from our club made the journey to Dumfries in brilliant sunshine.  After the game we had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant and on the way back to the rink car park we crossed over the River Nith that runs through the town.  I just had to take a photo of the reflections on the river.
