Travel day

Had time for a walk around one of my favourite rounds before packing. Mature beech trees and a dry stone wall. Met a recuperating horse being walked.

In extra, the Arbroath basin from the train. We were, fortunately, very early at the station, having deposited the car back at Dyce and taken the 727 bus through the city. Our booked LNER fast train had been cancelled, and we got seats on the earlier service. Made our way up from Waverley; in a cool breeze, one of those rare days when it's colder in Edinburgh (17C) than in Aberdeen (23C).
