Common Carder Bumblebee

N and I went out on a search for a wood with butterflies this afternoon after I’d visited Mum. Took us three attempts to find a wood we could get parked at then only saw a handful of Speckled Wood butterflies however we wandered through a meadow which was just alive with bees :)
Off to bed tonight leaving N with his telescope as we have a run of clear nights.
