Fog Horn

A day of three parts - thick fog when, if it was still in routine use, the Sumburgh Head fog horn would have been operating; bright sunshine (ideal for photographing the fog horn); then back to thick fog again.

The fog horn is only sounded on special occasions these days - but if you ever get the chance to be around Sumburgh Head on a fog horn day, it is an awesome experience!
