Meanwhile - in the North?

The radio is just telling me of a new record - Most consecutive days over 30˚. (That's 86˚ it you use a stone-age thermometer.)  
      Meanwhile up at this end. I'm sitting here, (where the rest of humanity would say they were SAT : ¬ (  Infidels!) leaking from every pore at a mere 25˚, which it's never surpassed today; you can see the cloud we've had by seeing the effect on the Solar Panels.
        That said, it has been warm enough to "turn" 1.5" of milk I forgot to return to Fridge at Tea-time.  My mind went back to the '90's when the Shop got so hot that, before we bought a fridge, Milk was OFF by Lunch-time.
