woken early

Today I was woken earlier than I would have liked to have been given my late night last night.

I was woken earlier than I would like to have been by the postman who was very apologetic but he needed a signature for my letter.

In the letter were my tickets for my hero. It is going to be torture for my teenage daughter for the next week or so because it is my turn to talk obsessively about my idol, and play his music loud and sing his songs at the top of my voice.

I can't wait.

Being wakened early was worth it even if I did go back to sleep after opening my letter.
