5 months old

Charlie is now nearly 15lb and getting bigger every day!

He:
- has really found his voice and as well as babbling he likes to scream, loud! He isn't unhappy or upset, he just likes the (very) high pitch sound he can make. Still, I was known for being quite talkative myself as child so I guess it's karma!

- loves standing on my lap with me holding his arms. He's always wanting to put his weight on his legs;

- also likes to sit up (with support) and has sat up unaided for a few seconds;

- enjoys being on his side and rolls from his back to his side when playing, sleeping, and when I'm trying to change his bum!

- has started doing a 'fake cry' when I leave him alone for a few seconds in a room, especially when he's tired or cranky. He likes company!

- goes down very well at night still and has started to move his bed time earlier and earlier;

- sleeps from roughly 7:30 at night to 5am, has a feed then sleeps until 6:30/7am

- also now gets a formula dream feed from his dad at around 10:30pn. This never wakes him up;

- has fallen out of love with his bouncer and arches his back to try and get himself put of it!

- loves his Wabbit and cuddles it to sleep if he wakes up in the night;

- is too tall for the 1st setting in his jumperoo but a little too short for the next one; that's fine though as he enjoys playing with the toys;

- is still very reluctant to nap but manages 2 or 3 short ones on a good day, either in his cot or on my bed if we're home and in his pram if we're out;

- laughs and smiles spontaneously all of the time. He's a very happy little chap.

His nana, great nana and grandad Paul came to visit today and we all went to the Maynard for a delicious Sunday dinner. They came baring gifts too which have now been packed away in his 6-9 month drawer. It won't be long before he's in them at this rate!

I struggled to pick the picture for today's blip. I had another finger chewing shot lined up too.
