A Day In The Life

Garden Day

We harvested nine potato bags today; all white potatoes but three different varieties, Fingerling, Eva and Kennebec. We’re quite pleased with the results considering the overly wet conditions this summer. Not as much as previous years and many were small but it could have been so much worse! I trimmed the final two bags and when we harvest will depend on the weather forecast • It was another hot, humid day but we took a few breaks while working outside. During one of the rest periods I got a few shots of this cute hoverfly enjoying the zinnias • The Emergency Vet called today to let us know Grouch’s ashes are ready for us to pick up. Our plan is to do that tomorrow. It will be good to have him home • All eyes on Hurricane Lee • Peace & Love to you. Have a wonderful weekend!
