In our quest for very large garden containers we decided on a trip to Wakefield, to a garden centre I used to frequent when we last lived there, almost 13 years ago. It used to be a good garden centre, with lots of lovely plants, a good selection of pots, gardening equipment, a florist, and not too much else. Not so now. It looks to have expanded somewhat, farm produce is on sale, and near the entrance is a Halloween display. Even worse, further in, "everything you need for C********s!" It's still August, for goodness sake! 

No very large containers, though we did buy some fuel for our weed wand. Unlikely to be go back!

After a bite to eat we headed for Sainbury's, to buy a few items that we can't buy locally. Then to the DIY shop, for a couple of things to enable MrM to finish off the worktop.

Home for a quick meal before going to Morris practice in Slaithwaite, followed by a pleasant hour in the pub.
