The old dock

Our photo group's theme was ground level . This is a ground level view of the grass by  Cavendish Dock. You can just make out the crane in the distance. Two of the 3 ships have left,  after being moored there for several months.
It's good that they havent been used as their purpose is to transport spent nuclear fuel from Japan to Europe.  A sobering thought.

As it was so hot today we went for a walk around Abbey Grounds . It wasnt as relaxing as usual as someone appeared around the path with a huge aggressive Alsation. She had it on a lead thank goodness but she only just managed to control it  as she turned back and took another path. It put me on edge. It's the 2nd time weve encountered it.
