Shade

This morning I had some but it was back to blazing sunshine this afternoon so I sheltered with the curtains closed. After my visitors left, a nurse took pity on me and opened the window a crack. And now the temperature is coming down nicely.

Made it out of bed by myself a few times today, which I wouldn't have believed was possible yesterday. I'm slowly being disconnected from things as my condition improves. I hope to get the last things removed tomorrow, and then learn to give myself injections for a few days after I get home. One step at a time!
