249/365 Volterra

We drove up to Volterra today and I have to say that the road to it was rather windy with lots of hairpin bends to negotiate. Our little hire car, a Fiat Panda, got us there in the end.

It's another great place to visit and plenty to see, including quite a  establishments with wild boar heads as decorations outside their shops and restaurants.

We had our daily fix of ice cream too when we went to San Gimignano afterwards. Got plenty of steps in as well.
