There are three reasons to sit inside a tent instead of in front of the tent. Mosquitos, cold or rain. Mosquitos come in the evening, so no need for windows then. But maybe need for venting. In cold or rain it's nice to be able to look outside. But will I stay for long if it keeps raining or if it's too cold? Those are the things to keep in mind...
