Sunset Storm

It's my birthday and it's been manic all day: I made breakfast at 11am but wasn't able to eat it until 2pm with neighbours popping in, and even at 2pm daughter Lorna arrived and  ate it with them there!

Friends arrived just after Lorna left, and only went about 8.45pm this evening. Whilst we were watching the sunset, there were loads of electrical flashes behind a dark cloud facing westwards towards The Brecon Beacons. The blipfoto is straight out of camera taken from our living room. It's also caught some stars if you are viewing large!

Nice to have 'fireworks' to celebrate my big day!
