Making the most of it

With the weather as it is at the moment you just want to make the most of it, so I was up nice and early this morning to beat the crowds up Penyfan again. Luckily there was a bit of a rugby on whilst I had my breakfast, although the first half of Japan v Wales wasn't the best half of rugby I've ever seen.

So to Corndu and Penyfan again, the sun was out but it was quite chilly with quite a strong breeze as you gained height. The views again were terrific, and I managed a personal best in climbing the mountain. What makes that even better is that was achieved by going up the hardest route as well. Pretty chuffed!

Then more rugby as the Lions took on Queensland Reds, and the first half was very good with both sides looking to play open rugby. The second half fell off a bit, but it was a good stern test for the Lions although its concerning as to how many injuries they're picking up and we're still only in week one of the tour.

A quick bike ride later on in the day and today has been pretty good!
