Happy Hoverfly

It finally rained today, bringing an end to the heatwave in the UK, though it is still hot by September temperature averages. My area didn't really get that much rain and I had no problem popping out into the garden between raindrops for some more shots of the Michaelmas daises.  This hoverfly on a bud was clearly enjoying the cooler weather.
