Bird on a hot clay roof

Another roasting hot day; in the morning it was good to sit on the bench outside before the sun really hit the front of the house. 

Lasted 15 minutes in the sun at lunchtime before I could feel myself starting to burn. Got a last-minute appointment to take Stella for her vaccinations. Vet delighted with her continued weight loss: another 3kg off. 

In the evening we watched France beat the All Blacks to get their Rugby World Cup off to a strong start. A weekend on the settee starts here.
