La Diada

Catalonia ‘s National day starts with a wreath laying at a memorial to the 1714 war which ended Catalan statehood.  

I was honoured to be asked to help lay the floral tribute from the EFA/Green Group in the European Parliament,

But the human pyramid team behind us in the procession placed their’s with much more individualistic style…
