A Sign

A sure sign that Fall is on its way! We've been seeing more and more Turkey Vultures flying overhead and sitting in the trees. Sadly, they have fewer tall trees to roost in since more and more trees are being cut down in fear of hurricanes. If you are concerned about tall trees around around your home, please consider having their canopies opened up and dying/dead limbs removed rather than cutting down the entire tree. If you really must remove a tree, please replace it with a hardier species for your area. Here in North Central Florida, Fall/Winter is an excellent time to plant trees.
