Piping hot!

Another scorcher here in Loans and most of the rest of Scotland, it would appear. Troon beach was jam packed with roasting bodies and the ice cream vans were doing a great trade. Up the road in Ardrossan, local boy Andrew Brodlie was competing in the solo piping competition at Ardrossan Highland games. Andrew is a member of Greater Glasgow Police Scotland pipe band. Bet it was hot work! But he was rewarded with two 2nd places and a 3rd place! Altogether a good day at (or out of?) the office! Well done, Andrew! And thanks to Fiona for today's blip.
