D, morning view

Much depleted but still very sociable and happy to discuss politics, book clubs, his life to date, food in the local hospital (terrible, he says, I lost two stone and ate nothing but cornflakes), immigration (they should legalise it, he says, let them come in and pay their taxes).
I’m here to be sociable with him, help in the garden and with stuff he and T currently can’t do, and to give T a break by going out for a lovely lunch with her and cousin C who has surprised us all by leaving her 30 year relationship.
Also manage a short run in the morning, so all in all the day is pretty good so far.
