The proper washing-up bowl is still stuck under a refugee plant somewhere so I gave in and picked up a new one. I would have preferred to trundle past a few shops to get one which would fit without slanting a bit but I was busy right up to Amos-collection so only had time to go through one shop, parking next to the same model of bike as the former sparebike, including a set of flat bars very similar to those I fitted, but it had canti brakes fitted so probably wasn't my old one.
