Damp day

A wet morning with some quite heavy rain .... not a good start!

The afternoon did look a little better as it was only damp with a bit of mizzle & occasional drizzle!

Intrepid adventurers that we are, we girded our loins & wearing macs, of course, we set out for a wander!

There wasn't much wildlife about ..... they all had more sense & stayed in the dry! It was good to get out even though it was a bit on the damp side!

Spotted this funky fungi on the tree trunk ...... best image I could get in the dim light but at least it gives me a blip! :-)

Extra - a slimy slug who seemed to be enjoying the wet weather!
