Today's the day ......................... to catch a fish

I'm quite pleased with this one.

I was standing on the bank of the River Kent looking over the railing down into the water. Not far from where Becky's daughter is in her shot today. There was a plopping sound - as if someone had thrown in a small pebble - but when I looked, I could see it was a fish.

I thought I would have a go at taking a picture of it - but to be honest, I couldn't see what I was aiming at. It kept moving about and I had to wait until it was over some lighter rocks to contrast with its dark colour.

But here it is - by some sort of miracle of my little camera - and as I said, I'm quite pleased with it ......................
