Butterfly Magnet

The Pagoda Flower, Clerodendrum paniculatum, plant is native to tropical Asia and Papuasia, Fiji and French Polynesia. It does well here in North Central Florida. The Pagoda plant's flowering 'stems' grow 7-8 ft tall and must be controlled or it will pop up all over the yard. It's tiny orange flowers grow in a Pagoda-like shaped display. It's quite an impressive accent plant. The Hummingbirds and butterflies appear to love it! Do take a look at the *extra...it's large leaves are wilted during the day because of the heat.
