By the River, Sunderland (MA)

Another shopping related outing today, firstly to a proper fabric store in Greenfield, where I did find something to purchase.  Most of their stock is quilting cottons, but there was some dressmaking fabric too.  Found some rayon batik, which I haven't found anywhere else, not even online.  Then over to a restored gristmill in Montague, which now houses a cafe, restaurant, record store, artists' collective, and the Montague Bookmill, whose slogan is "Books you don't need in a place you can't find".  They sell both used and new books, and have a proper old bookstore feel.  And finally, a stop by the river in Sunderland, for a short meander along the riverside path and view the foliage.
