Wound up in Wexford

All set

Just waiting for the leader.

We're in Dublin for a night.  We drove up in pretty unpleasant weather, found our AirBnb in the suburb of Saggart, and took the LUAS into the centre.  An interesting journey, we were "entertained" by a couple of very drunk youfs.  Garda were summoned, but the lads had scarpered by then, thank goodness.

We had an early dinner at a restaurant, then we found our way to the National Concert Hall for a great evening of symphonic music.  Started with a piece by Augusta Holmès (no, I'd never heard of her before either, which seems a shame) called Irlande.  Very large orchestra, but really well used.  Worth a listen on YouTube. This was followed by Tchaikovsky.  His 1st Piano Concerto, with Barry Douglas at the piano, and then after the interval, his 1st Symphony.  All very passionate and stirring music, a great evening.

It was still raining when we emerged.  Our return journey on LUAS was uneventful.  But it was quite late by the time we got back to our overnight lodgings, so I'm blipping this on Saturday morning.
