So it begins...

Light rain and some wind but as the hurricane skirts Maine our winds will strengthen.  The worst impact will be Downeast.  Not a lot of rain here but I can hear the wind as I type so this will be brief.  Hopefully, there won't be power outages here, but it is, frankly, very likely.  With all the rain the ground is saturated, and the trees are stressed.  Still leafed out, they will act like sails and will be easily uprooted.  It will be what it will be.  Thank you everyone for all your kind words yesterday on the terrible tragedy of Stephanie's murder.  It is still so hard to comprehend.  Gift#257: a caring community.
