Serendipity

It just so happens that a lady, Sue, that I know from both indoor and outdoor bowls had entered a novices pairs competition at West Backwell but, very sadly, her partner had a very recent family bereavement and wasn't able to play; so Sue contacted me earlier this week to see if I was available. Having cleared it with the higher authority we pitted ourselves against 27 other pairs and came out on top, woohhoo. As you can imagine we're chuffed to bits :-)
