Orpheus Strings

This afternoon we went to a wonderful performance by the Orpheus Strings chamber orchestra. Elizabeth and Adelaide were both playing in the junior orchestra.
I wish I had a better understanding of music but it sounded pretty good to me. Some of the performers are professional musicians so it was a great experience for the girls.
Hugh and Henry had the choice of attending or going to the cricket nets for practice. They chose the latter. Graham said Adelaide would probably have preferred to as well!
As an added bonus we won the lucky door prize - 2 tickets to a future concert. It's a rare event for us to win something.
