Just In Time For...

Breakfast. Sometimes you're the diner and sometimes you're on the plate. The Barred Owls that I frequently see sitting on the branches overhanging our pond missed this female American Bullfrog at breakfast time. So now it's her turn to score a meal. The little creature on the right side of the photo is a small frog of some ilk. It was about to become the larger frog's meal, until my presence frightened the bullfrog into the water.
