Total Recall

H's birthday boxing day. We are trying to get Dot used to the car so took her to the next village for her short walk.

I've read recently that pups walking has to be really restricted. I knew they are not supposed to go for long walks but the rule is 5 minutes per day per month since birth. This means Dot can have 15 mins per day! All to do with bones knitting apparently. I love a long dog walk (especially with a pub) but we'll have to wait a few months yet.

Anyway a short walk with some recall training, she is getting better but still gets very easily distracted. 

An excellent Grand Prix and then dinner.

A lot of friends children and Pops pals have gone of to uni today, it all feels a little odd. This will be us next week, packing her off to Cardiff with a car full of stuff, a loan and an overdraft... Scary times.
