Milwaukee Railroad Trestle

This trestle was built back in 1916 and connected into the Larson Logging Mill on Lake Whatcom and the rails also stretched across the lake to Blue Canyon where logging and coal were a big industry back then. The trestle started to lean a couple years ago and because one of the main trails that leads into Whatcom Falls Park runs right by it, the city decided to take it down just to be safe. I was disappointed I missed the demolition process but looks like it went well and will miss seeing it on my walks.
