Bressingham

We went to Bressingham to meet up with sister Linda and Denise for lunch. It was good to see them and catch up with all the news.

There is a steam museum there which we didn't visit this time, but I did photograph this old locomotive that stands beside the carpark. VR 2-8-0 No. 1144 is missing it's connecting rods, coupling rods and all the valve gear this Finnish loco isn't going anywhere. It is unlikely to run in the UK as Finland uses the Russian 5 foot track gauge. Why it was imported to the UK is a good question.
