Orchid Tree

There are quite a few of these lovely trees in this part of Brisbane. It's easy to see why they are called Orchid trees (Bauhinia).

The morning was frustrating as I waited in for a man who was to dispose of a big pile of fallen palm leaves in the back garden. He failed to show up; I've now contacted a different man who should be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
