Gosh darn

I like this one. My only darning to date had been hastily filling in a hole that had suddenly appeared in school tights or the like - nothing like this. Slowly working my way through the embroidery alphabet. Am now onto F for fill stitch. It's keeping me busy, or busier anyway.

My mum came round and 'minded' me for a while as Dad took H to Dundee (a school holiday) and D had meetings. We just nattered, sewed, drank tea and munched. Somehow the day just vanished.
