Bits and Bobs!

Colourful Cauli

The only time I’ve ever seen Romanesco cauliflowers before was in France (don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple cauli before). If you fancy buying one you can get one at the farm shop/deli/café where B and I went for a cuppa this morning, too wet and windy to go walking, though it’ll cost you £4.50!

Why is it that when the weather starts to change and the nights start drawing in we start eating more, especially comforting stodge, or is it just me? Cooked a full Sunday roast on Tuesday, even made an Apple Crumble, on a school night! Oh, and my insurance claim appeal was rejected, booooo...

Thank you for your kind stars and hearts for yesterday’s autumnal daddy longlegs.
