Mangú Tres Golpes

Mangú Tres Golpes: mangú, fried Queso de Freir, fried salami especial, and eggs sunny side up.

This is the traditional breakfast of the Dominican Republic. Mangú is mashed green plaintains with vinegar and pickled red onions. The cheese is very similar to mozzarella. The salami especial is a smoked breakfast sausage with a fine, close texture made with pork, pork hearts, and beef. I didn't find this treatment of plantains very interesting, but everything else was delicious.
