Back Blip

Monday was a showery day and, thinking I'd manage a quick walk between the downpours, I drove over to Kirkintilloch. About five or ten minutes after leaving the house, the rain became torrential and it was not a very pleasant drive at all. Thankfully, it had eased off by the time I reached my destination so I was able to have a walk along the Canal from Hillhead almost to the Marina, cutting off just before the Millennium Bridge to walk over to Peel Park.

The Park incorporates a section of the Antonine Wall and this sculptured signpost is one of those erected by the Rediscovering the Antonine Wall project.
