Lovely little weekend trip to Frome with Ma, now her energy levels are approaching back to normal.

The forecast was for sunny hot weather, but I don’t think either of us really believed it. As a result neither of us were dressed/packed appropriately.

We both arrived at about 10.30 and headed straight for the market. It took hours to see it all, with a pitstop for fancy crumpets. We both bought a few bits, a couple of presents for people. We found an amazing cafe in a church (which also had a gallery upstairs) and shared a very lovely afternoon almond croissant.

Headed to the hotel when we could check in, and chilled for a bit. I also had to organise a BT engineer, as Matt had called to tell me that our upstairs neighbour had accidentally chopped through our phone line while trimming his wisteria. Classic.

Dinner in Frome was very tasty, finished with a lovely walk - the town basically deserted so it looked so different to market hours.
