Synchronised Sitting

It's a 9 for sitting, a 9 for chatting, & for the free style round, today featuring snacking on Jenny's homemade scotch egg.. it's a 10!

Woop!

Jenny & I made out way over to Tadworth to spend the day with Grandad & Pam, & it was very nice. We caught up, we talked about all manner of things, they put on a lovely little dinner for us all & we had a great time. They loved Jen's scotch eggs, they really were delicious, & we left most of the scones for them to try later, but in case you were wondering, I can confirm that they also are very tasty!

Grandad's always partial to an interesting story, a humorous anecdote, or dare I say it, a tall tale, & today was no exception. Grandad revealed at the dinner table that one of our ancestors was... yes, you didn't guess it, a highwayman. Fascinating, I know. More information on that please! He also told us, more likely to be a non-fiction story than the previous, that he'd recently been informed that a woman was claiming against him for a scratch on her car that he'd supposedly done. Now, having been a driving examiner for some time when he was working, Grandad was having none of it & was convinced it was a scam, & when the ladies insurance company phoned to request his presence at Northampton Court for a hearing, he said & I quote, 'I am not bl**dy coming to going to court! I don't want anything to do with it.' What larks! Enjoying Grandad & Pam's company is why it's lovely spending time with them.

Hope all you're weekend's have been equally as entertaining!
