Looking over Leith

Very mild out, 18C at 09.00 am, and a strong SW wind, bringing occasional showers all day. Had a gap for a quick morning walk and the main rush of people on Calton Hill has eased off.  

Planted a few daffodils in pots, put some hyacinth bulbs in compost in the fridge. 

Out again in the afternoon to find yet another of Lyon & Turnbull's premises, the offices at Broadside in Canonmills, where the rare books and maps (auction today, 23rd September) are on show.
