It poured with rain all night & all morning ..... at some points it sounded like a pneumatic drill it was so heavy!

It did finally ease off & eventually stop mid afternoon ..... macs on & off we went!

We didn't go far ..... just a quick wander round a little park but at least we got some fresh air.

Came across these two benches .... thought they were an unusual memorial to the fallen.

Double proverbs here - "A picture is worth a thousand words" & "Two for the price of one" :-)

I couldn't put one up without the other .... thanks Steveng for hosting :-)

Only a few more days left of our holiday ... it has gone quickly!
