Ceci n'est pas une pub.

The Golden Lion is Todmorden's oldest pub.  After a long and distinguished life it steadily became rather run down and, when it was flooded quite badly in 2012, it remained empty for about 3 years. It was then bought by two business partners who transformed it into a community hub providing customers with first rate Thai food and a wide selection of craft beers.
But - they also host live music (and some 'big' names have appeared) and have their own record label 'Golden Lion Sounds'  (vinyl only).  It is something of a retreat for ageing hippies - and is very popular. They say they are a pub reimagined - it's certainly different.
