Hard Day

Up at 4.45am and walking in the Lake District by 6am. It’s been one of the most physically tough days I’ve ever had. I couldn’t match the pace of much of our group and didn’t reach all the planned peaks (although) I was able to do a couple of slightly less challenging alternatives. My boot sole became partially detached from my boot meaning it was a wet left foot most of the day but I kept going and 45000 steps later and having seen rain, hail, wind and sunshine we were done, at least for today, more of the same tomorrow!!!
