Avian Lawnmowers

This morning has started out a bit grey, but hopefully the sun will break through again this afternoon (according to the weather forecast, anyway). This is Goosey Lucy and her mate Goosey Brucie (no I can't tell them apart either, but they can, and that's all that matters). They were happily mowing this section of grass alongside the canal lock when I visited this morning. You might just be able to see where they have already mown as the grass is considerably shorter than the other parts they haven't yet mowed. It would save me a fortune in gardener's fees if I had this pair in my garden - but then again they probably wouldn't both fit in my garden pond!
