The needle nose pliers

We went to Costco to gas up and the cable snapped when I pulled on the inside fuel cap opener —- so the attendant couldn’t open the gas door to unscrew the cap. What a bizarre thing to happen. But the attendant pulled out his phone and utubed what to do— he got a pair of needle nose pliers and put it in and found the cable then tugged in it and it worked ! He filled it up!
Later telling my son what happened I accidentally leaned against the lid ti the cap and closed it. While it was maddening we both laughed . Got to see if the handy dandy needle nose pliers would work easily for us! A success!
In early evening the family stopped by on a walk and our Dil , thinking someone was tampering with the gas flap closed it for us ! Needle nose pliers to the rescue. There’s a back order on the cable part to fix it , so I anticipate more pliers in our future !!!
